What is an Open Tribe?

Here at Tribevest, our goal is to simplify group investing. And by doing so, we have made that process easier, safer and more transparent. 

An Open Tribe is a turn-key Single Investment Vehicle (SPV) that creates operational efficiencies for real estate syndications raising capital.

Through the Open Tribe process, people who want to contribute towards a specific deal are able to come together under the umbrella of a multi-member LLC (with the protection of a ratified Operating Agreement) and pool their capital. Once all the funds are pooled from all the members of the LLC, the Tribe (as one business entity) can then invest into that specific deal.

Tribevest provides the management tools, including an FDIC-insured bank account, cap ledger, cap table, tax services - and more, to easily, safely and transparently manage the group investing process.

What process can you expect joining an Open Tribe?

1. Fill out a Soft Commit Form for the deal you are interested in
2. Once the Soft Commit period closes, you will be emailed a confirmation and details of next steps
3. Once added to the Tribe, you will then be prompted to join the Tribe and fund the round.
   1. Note: You will need to add a membership fee to your contribution. That fee is for each Tribe as it covers taxes and setup fees for that specific Tribe. 
4. You will get an email to electronically sign the Operating Agreement via DropBox Sign.
5. Once the deal is funded from the Tribe, you will get a final confirmation email that the investment has been made.
