How do I schedule a contribution?

Scheduling a contribution on the Tribevest platform

This document is a step-by-step guide on how to schedule a contribution on the Tribevest platform. Once a contribution has been scheduled, the contribution automatically triggers on the date selected. If the selected day of the month falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the trigger date will initiate on the following business day.

  1. Login to Tribevest
  2. Select the Tribe you are contributing to and navigate to the Funding Tab.
  3. Hover over the Funding menu item. Select Contributions from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select the Schedule Contribution button on the top right. This will open the Schedule a Contribution box.

Within the Schedule a Contributions box, see below, follow the below steps.

  1. Optional: Select the funding round to which you would like to contribute or skip this step. 

  2. Verify the Source Bank Account is the current account for where your contribution will be coming from. Please note: if you have not linked/verified a bank account to the platform, you will be prompted to do so before you can schedule a contribution.

  3. Enter the dollar amount you would like to contribute

  4. Select the date you would like the contribution to be triggered.

    1. Please note, contributions take 3-5 business days to process. The date you select is the trigger date, not the date the contribution will appear in the bank account. 

  5. Select 'Submit Contribution'. You will see your contribution listed as pending at this time. Once it fully settles in the account, your contribution status will update to 'Success'. 

Scheduling up a recurring contribution

  1. If you would like to set up a monthly recurring contribution, check the Monthly Recurring Contribution box which will add the Custom Recurrence options to the form, see below.
      1. Be sure the dollar amount entered in the Amount field (Step 5c) is the amount you would like to contribute per month.
      2. Select the day of the month you would like the recurring contribution to be triggered
      3. Indicate the number of months you would like the recurring contribution to occur
      4. Select the Submit Contribution button at the bottom of the form to set the scheduled contribution.
