Here is a step-by-step guide on how to create an operating agreement for your tribe. You will only be able to generate your Operating Agreement when all your members have joined and your LLC has been filed.
On the Tribe Dashboard, either select 'Generate your Operating Agreement' or select the Settings from the top menu bar.
Note: Your LLC has to be filed or imported before you can generate an Operating agreement.
Verify that all your members have joined your Tribe, you've filled out your rules and bylaws, and you've completed your Cap Table by inputting initial contributions or reserved equity.
Click the Generate New button in the top right corner.
All of the members who are part of your tribe will be listed on the operating agreement.
Click the View button on the document to preview your Operating Agreement.
For Member Managed Templates:
If the document looks correct click Send for Signatures. This will notify all of your tribe members that there is an operating agreement for them to sign.
Sign your operating agreement by either drawing your signature or typing it.
When a tribe member signs the document the status indicator by their picture will turn green.
After all of the members have signed the document it will be considered ratified.
Your ratified operating agreement will be available to all members in your documents section.
For Manager Managed Templates:
Because of the slightly different format, Manager Managed Templates will need to be downloaded and re-uploaded to be ratified.
