Tribevest utilizes plaid when linking your source account. Plaid does not support integrations with all banks, if your bank is not supported in Plaid, you can manually connect your account via micro deposits.
Plaid is a secure method used by banks and companies like PayPal and Venmo. Plaid verifies you are the owner of the linked account to allow ACH transactions to happen without Tribevest having to store any of your individual account details.
- To link your source account, follow these instructions.
- When linking your bank, you will see options to connect instantly or manually. Instantly requires the bank to be supported in plaid. If you plan to connect via account numbers, select 'Manual'.
3. Once you select 'Manual', follow the prompts below to link your account securely:
4. Depending on how you chose to be represented in your Tribe, please select either personal account or business account. If you chose to be represented by a business profile, you should select business account.
5. Authorize Plaid to deposit $0.01 into your source account, once authorized you will see the micro deposit land within your source account within a day.
6. After the micro deposit lands in your account, login back into Tribevest, navigate to your source account by selecting your name in the top right hand corner and selecting 'Manage Account'.
7. You should see the notification to verify your account on the righthand side. Select 'Verify Bank Account' and then enter in the 3-letter code that was provided on the transaction for the micro deposit.
8. Once entered your account has been verified and is ready for ACH contributions.
