How do I contribute capital to my Tribe?

There are a couple ways to contribute capital to your Tribe account.

To add capital contributions into your Tribe account, you will need to:

Wire funds from your bank (fees may apply) 


You have the option to wire funds from your bank account to the Tribe. Wiring instructions can be found under the "Business Account" tab in your Tribe dashboard.

ACH funds from your personal bank to the Tribe account 

1. You'll need to gather the required information first, which can be found under the "Business Account" tab in your Tribe dashboard by clicking on "Wire and Account Information."

2. Log in to your bank's online banking portal. Navigate to the "Transfers" or "Payments" section. 

3. Set up a new Payee or External Account. Select "External Transfer" or "Send Money to Another Bank." Enter the Tribe's bank details.(* **) Some banks may require micro-deposit verification (they'll send a few cents to the Tribe business account and ask you to confirm the amounts or the code included). 

4. Initiate the transfer. Enter the amount and transfer date. Choose Standard ACH (1-3 Business Days) or Same-Day ACH (if available). Confirm the details and submit. Save the Payee for future transfers if helpful. 

*In some cases, ACH transfer may not be available to the Tribevest Fifth Third Bank account from your bank. 

**In some cases your bank may not allow for a 17 digit account number. If this is the case, please reach out to support@tribevest.com so we can help. 

Set up recurring ACH payments from your bank to your Tribe account


1. You'll need to gather the required information first, which can be found under the "Business Account" tab in your Tribe dashboard by clicking on "Wire and Account Information."

2. Log in to your bank's online banking portal. Navigate to the "Transfers," "Payments," "Bill Pay," or "External Accounts" section. 

3. Set up a new Payee or External Account. Select "External Transfer" or "Send Money to Another Bank." Enter the Tribe's bank details.(* **) Some banks may require micro-deposit verification (they'll send a few cents to the Tribe business account and ask you to confirm the amounts or the code included). 

4. Setup a recurring transfer. Enter the Amount, Start Date, Frequency, and Duration. Confirm and save the recurring transfer. You can usually edit or cancel it anytime.

Deposit a check into the Tribe business account 

You can send a check to the Tribe admin for endorsement and deposit into the Tribe business account. Members cannot sign or deposit checks. 

To deposit a check: 
1. Fill out a check to the Tribe name with the amount you want to deposit. 

2. Send the physical check to the Tribe admin. 

3. The Tribe admin will need to endorse the check and write "For mobile deposit with Fifth Third Bank only" underneath the endorsement. 

4. Take a picture of the front and back of the check on a dark background with all 4 corners visible. The picture needs to be less than 2MB and a JPG or PNG file. 

5. The Tribe admin will need to navigate to the Tribe dashboard, select "Business Account" and "Deposit Check"

6. Upload the amount, memo, and check images. Submit. 

The check will take 5 business days to deposit. You can check the status of the check by going to "Business Account" select the business account and navigate to "Check Deposit History"
